We spend much of our childhood thinking we're special, individual, and/or important. As we get older, hopefully more mature and wiser, we learn that it's simply not the case. Everyone is of equal importance and those who are deemed more important are either born into it, fall into it, or work damn hard to get there. For the rest of us, after the reality hits, we try losing ourselves in what some call 'entertainment' such as Harry Potter, The Princess Diaries, Anastasia, Lost ..etc...and we can imagine ourselves being plucked out of our normal mundane life, and become something 'special', but it's highly unlikely, and when we close the book or pause the film, 'real' life resumes.
I am realistic, I know I'm nothing special, I'm of equal worth to every other man or woman, but through travel and adventures I get to witness special moments, special views and special environments... if only to share with you, so you can experience the adventure from the comfort of your soft seat in your warm home as you sip hot chocolate. So you can see what I do to escape 'real' life and lose myself.
